1. PARTICIPACIÓN.
El Concurso está abierto para todos(as) los(as) caricaturistas de cualquier parte del mundo.   

2. TEMA: Diversidad sexual.
La diversidad sexual siempre ha existido en todas las sociedades y en todas las épocas; algunas veces culturalmente aceptada y en otras, debido al prejuicio y a la discriminación, socialmente reprobada.
Nuestro tema respeta el derecho de todo adulto y de todo ser humano responsable a expresar sus diferencias sexuales.

3. LOS PREMIOS.
1er. lugar – $2000 US dólares + placa
2do. lugar– $1500 US dólares + placa
3er. lugar – $1000 US dólares + placa
Los resultados se darán a conocer vía E-mail, después del día 20 de noviembre 2012.

4. LOS TRABAJOS

The International Creative Competition of caricatures, devoted to 95th birthday of Perm drainage system “Not God but man … clean pot and pan”.



Almost everyone knows about a water supply and its meaning for men’s health. However sometimes we forget about the meaning of the drainage system for people’s life. It is impossible now to imagine our life without this system. It has a great meaning for keeping sanitary state of our cities and health of citizens.

In our city the drainage system appeared in 1917. Perm was one of the Russian cities that changed its sanitary state with the drainage system.

In 2012 Perm drainage system celebrates its 95th anniversary. The company «NOVOGOR-Prikamie» decided to celebrate this date in unusual way – we invite you to take part in the Competition of caricatures.



The aims of the competition:

1.      Strengthening the positive image of «NOVOGOR-Prikamie» as a responsible company that provides the service of sewerage.

2.      Attracting public attention to the rational usage of the drainage system and the importance and complexity of such kind of system.

3.      Environmental education of people.



The competition managers.

The responsible manager for competition is the company «NOVOGOR-Prikamie».



The committee of the competition.

The committee is setting up for the organization and taking results. The members of jury are confirmed by the managing director of «NOVOGOR-Prikamie».

The jury consists of well-known painters-caricaturists, art historians and specialists who has authority in corresponding area of activity. The chairman of jury is Victor Bogorad, the well-known painter-caricaturist (from St.Petersburg). The members of the jury can decline the works which don’t correspond with the requirements of the Clause.



The members of the jury will choose the best works according to the following criteria:

-correspondence to the theme and the aims of the competition;

-singularity;

-artistic style;

-the emotional color of each work;

-the work, its subject and characters shouldn’t contradict with the law of Russian Federation;



Time-frame.

The works are accepted from June, 15 till September, 15 2012.

The results of expert view will be present till November, 20 2012.



The competition is open for everyone. The terms are equal both for amateurs and professionals.

One competitor can present no more than 5 works.

A standard bid (Appendix 1) should be attached to every work. It is a necessary document for participation in the competition.

The author who didn’t give all the information pointed in a bid won’t be admitted to the competition by jury.

All winners should give to organizers their passport data, PTRN (personal tax reference number) and bank data for getting money.



The organizers of the competition have the right to use competitive works (for example, for posters, leaflets, calendars, etc) at public events in Perm region, for example, exhibitions, presentations, gift books and at the site of the company.

The following provisions govern the granting of

THE UNITED NATIONS/RANAN LURIE
POLITICAL CARTOON AWARDS

The prizes are to be announced as usual on the first Thursday of December 2012, at the Annual Awards Dinner and at the United Nations, New York. Thirteen (13) prizes will be announced in the presence of the Secretary General of the United Nations, The Honorable Ban Ki-moon.

First prize, of $10,000.00 and a plaque, will be presented by Dr. Elie Wiesel, Nobel Laureate, Chairman Emeritus of the Judging Committee.

Second prize, of $5,000.00 and a plaque, will be presented by Giampaolo Pioli, President of the United Nations Correspondents Association.

Third prize, of $3,000.00 and a plaque, will be presented by Bhikshuni Weisbrot, President of the United Nations SRC Society of Writers.

Ten (10) honorable mentions, in the form of plaques, will be declared by Giampaolo Pioli, President of UNCA, and Bhikshuni Weisbrot, President of the United Nations SRC Society of Writers.

All entries will be announced via the worldwide press. All winners' prizes, either financial and/or plaques, will be sent via U.S. registered mail on December 14, 2012.

Rules for Exhibits:

1. Entries must be submitted in writing and addressed to

POLITICAL CARTOON AWARDS,

25 Columbus Circle, Suite 63E, New York, NY, 10019 (no phone or fax calls, please). Entries for awards must be received on or before October 15, 2012, and represent work done from the beginning of October 2011, to the 12th of October 2012, reflecting the importance of human dignity, mutual respect and friendship among nations, as well as economic consideration and environmental responsibilities towards each other. While cartoonists may send in what ever they please, the contest does not encourage maligning member nations or their leaders.

Winning cartoons will be chosen for their high professional standards in art, political analysis of events, projection of events to come, humor, while emphasizing the spirit and principles of the U.N.


2. Entries for these awards may be made by any professional individual, and should consist of political cartoons printed in any publication published anywhere, in any language. The entry must consist of reproductions only. The cartoon reproductions will be accepted only as published, with name of publication, language, and date included, accompanied by a newspaper reprint, and translated into English. Exhibits are limited to two cartoons per person. Reproductions must be presented measuring no larger than 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Envelopes larger than 9 x 13 inches will not be opened.

THE COMMITTEE

requires that every entry conform to the stated limits and size before it can be given any jury consideration. All exhibits should include no more than a 75 word biography, a picture of the entrant, and be in English or translated into English.


3. All materials including prize-winning exhibits become the property of

and will not be returned. Again: Only copies (not originals!) will be accepted for consideration. All material may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to inclusion in special United Nations albums or other albums and exhibits.
4. The decisions of the judges are final and irrevocable.

Dedete, a humorous supplement from Juventud Rebelde newspaper,
invites all graphic humorists worldwide to participate with ecologist works in
the International Showcase:
"Save Homo Sapiens!"

山东12岁小漫画家获法国容扎克国际漫画双年展大奖

　　“法国容扎克国际漫画双年展”是国际漫画大赛，同时也是法国和世界漫画家的聚会。该项比赛已经举办了20年，始终以幽默与葡萄为主题，中国美协漫画艺委会秘书长夏大川先生曾在2004年获奖。历届漫画展在欧洲各地巡回展出，在漫画界享有很高的学术地位。其中第9届在全法和欧洲20多个地区巡展，观众超过10万人。

　　本届比赛共有52个国家、312名漫画家参加，最终7人获胜，他们分别是意大利Marianna Carazzai；比利时Constantin Sunnerberg；法国Pierre Ballouhey和Christine Traxeler （Trax）；哥伦比亚Fernando Pica （Hincapie）、中国Xiaorui Wang（王晓蕊）；塞尔维亚Pac LEPHAFT。

　　中国12岁小女孩王晓蕊的获奖作品是《蚂蚁走遍全世界》系列作品之一《醉人的法国》，作品以一只疲惫的旅行者“蚂蚁”的视角，将法国凯旋门变幻为葡萄和酒瓶，并且陶醉其中。作品简单但富有创意、生动有趣，深受国际漫画家Napo（纳波）和漫画展主席NoL（诺罗）的喜爱，获得“青年人才奖”，并应邀远赴法国领奖。
